About MAVA
Malaysian Volleyball Association
The Malaysian Volleyball Association (MAVA) was established in 1959 as a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the growth and development of volleyball across Malaysia. With over six decades of history, MAVA has remained steadfast in its mission to serve the sports community and promote volleyball as a sport that inspires teamwork, discipline, and unity.
As the national governing body for volleyball, MAVA plays a pivotal role in organizing tournaments, training programs, and outreach initiatives designed to nurture talent at all levels — from grassroots players to professional athletes. The association collaborates closely with schools, clubs, and local communities to create opportunities for players to develop their skills, build character, and compete on regional, national, and international stages.
MAVA is also committed to supporting coaches, referees, and sports officials by providing certification programs, workshops, and resources to elevate the standards of the game.
